Assets

The Assets section is designed to facilitate the management and tracking of organizational assets. This section provides users with a structured interface to monitor asset allocation, status, and details effectively.

Main Features:

Assets Overview: Upon entering the section, users are presented with a clean and organized interface that includes:

  • Asset Type Filter: Options for users to categorize assets based on type.

  • Employee Filter: Functionality to filter assets by the employee to whom they are lent.

  • Status Filter: Options to filter assets based on their current status.

Asset Listing Table: The main area displays a table with the following columns:

  • # (Index Number): A unique identifier for each asset entry.

  • Asset Picture: Visual representation of the asset.

  • Asset Name: The name or type of asset (e.g., Laptop, iPhone).

  • Lent To: The employee or entity the asset is assigned to.

  • Status: Current condition of the asset (e.g., Available, Non-Functional, Lost, Damaged, Under Maintenance).

  • Date: Date of the asset's entry or last update.

  • Action: Options for users to perform actions related to the asset (e.g., view, edit).

Add New Asset Functionality: The "Add New Asset" button leads users to a form for creating new asset entries, which includes:

  • Asset Name: A mandatory field for specifying the name of the asset.

  • Asset Type: Required field for classifying the type of asset.

  • Serial Number: Unique identification number for the asset.

  • Value: Input field for the asset's monetary value.

  • Location: Field to indicate where the asset is physically located.

  • Status Selection: Dropdown menu to choose the current status of the asset.

  • Asset Picture Upload: Option to upload an image of the asset.

  • Description Field: Optional space to enter additional details about the asset.

Purpose of the Assets Section

This section aims to enhance asset management within the organization by providing a centralized platform to track, categorize, and manage assets efficiently. It ensures that users can easily access vital information regarding assets, supporting better decision-making and resource allocation across the organization.
