Payroll Module
The Payroll module provides a comprehensive tool for managing and generating employee salaries within the system. Upon accessing this module, users can manage payroll processes, including generating salary slips, viewing payroll cycles, and reviewing historical salary data.
Key Features:
Select Year and Month: Users can select both the year and the specific month for which they want to manage or review payroll. This feature allows users to filter payroll data by the desired time period, making it easier to locate specific payroll information.
Salary Cycle: This section defines the payroll period, typically by months or pay cycles. Users can choose the appropriate month from the dropdown to focus on payroll for that specific period.
Search and Filter Options: Users can type employee names into the search bar to quickly locate payroll details for specific employees or departments.
Generate Payroll: This feature allows users to generate payroll for selected employees or departments. The user can select the department and the employees from the dropdown menu and proceed to generate the payroll for the chosen time period.
Payroll Overview:
Name: Displays the names of the employees for whom the payroll is being viewed or generated.
Net Salary: Shows the total net salary amount each employee will receive after deductions.
CTC (Cost to Company): Reflects the total cost incurred by the company for each employee, including benefits, bonuses, and other compensation components.
Duration: Indicates the time frame (such as the selected month) for which the payroll is generated.
Paid On: Displays the date on which the salary was processed or paid to the employee.
Status: Shows the payroll status, such as 'Paid', 'Pending', or 'Processed', to track the current state of salary disbursement.
Action Menu: For each entry in the payroll table, users have access to additional actions, such as viewing details, editing payroll entries, or generating reports.
This module simplifies payroll management by offering users flexibility in selecting the desired time period, generating accurate payroll records, and keeping track of the salary disbursement status.
Employee Salary
The Employee Salary module is designed for managing individual employee salary details and configuring salary settings within the system. When users enter this module, they have an overview of employees, their respective roles, and options to manage their salaries.
Designation and Department Filters: Users can filter the list of employees by selecting specific designations and departments, making it easier to locate relevant employees.
Search Bar: A search function allows users to quickly find specific employees by typing their names.
Employee List: A table displays the names of employees along with the following fields:
Employee Salary Cycle: This field indicates the frequency of the salary cycle, such as monthly, and can be adjusted.
Salary Group: Users can assign employees to different salary groups.
Allow Payroll Generate: A toggle that allows users to enable or disable automatic payroll generation for each employee.
Net Salary (Monthly): The field to input and display the net monthly salary for each employee.
Action Column: Each row has an "Add Salary" button that opens a form for inputting or editing an employee's salary details.
Export Function: An "Export" button allows users to download the data for further analysis or record-keeping.
