The QR Code section allows users to create and manage QR codes efficiently, facilitating easy access to information and enhancing user engagement.

Overview

Upon entering the QR Code section, users are presented with a straightforward interface displaying:

  1. QR Code Title: A label for identifying the QR code.

  2. Type: The specific type of content or action the QR code represents.

  3. Created: The date and time when the QR code was generated.

  4. Action: Options for managing the QR code.

Currently, the interface indicates that there are no existing QR codes, prompting users to create new ones.

Creating a QR Code

When the Create QR Code button is clicked, users are directed to a dedicated form for generating a new QR code. The form includes the following fields:

  • QR Title: A required field to provide a name for the QR code.

  • Type: A required dropdown to select the type of content (e.g., URL, text, contact information).

  • Message: A field to enter the specific message or data that the QR code will encode.

QR Code Design Options

The form also allows users to customize the QR code's appearance with several design options:

  • Logo: An option to upload a logo that will be integrated into the QR code.

  • Logo Size: A slider or input field to adjust the logo's size, with a default of 100%.

  • Size: An input field to set the overall size of the QR code, with a default value of 200.

  • Margin: A field to specify the margin around the QR code, with a default of 10.

  • Background Color: A color picker to choose the background color of the QR code, defaulting to white (#FFFFFF).

  • Foreground Color: A color picker to select the QR code's foreground color, defaulting to black (#000000).

Users are advised to ensure that the selected background and foreground colors have sufficient contrast to maintain QR code scanability.

Finalizing QR Code Creation

After filling in the required fields and adjusting the design settings, users can:

  • Generate QR Preview: View a preview of the QR code before saving.

  • Save: Finalize the creation of the QR code.

  • Cancel: Exit the form without saving any changes.
